It's been awhile since I updated my Blog, My busy schedule keeps me darn so tied up...anyway, I would like to share this wonderful Poem

To My Child

I’m here at college on a Saturday

I have this dream, you see,

To learn all I can and then some,

To be the best that I can be



As it gets late, my mind drifts away

To a time not so long ago

When you was small and had just begun,

Somewhat like an angel, you know



Your eyes will always shine like stars

Your laughter nothing could ever replace

The warmth of your heart weighs more than gold

You’ll always bring a smile to my face



You’ll always be a part of me

Yet alone you beautifully stand

I pray that GOD will always keep

You safely in his hand



And then I realize the dream I hold

Has already come true

The greatest job I’ll ever have

Being called “MAMA” by you
